Danielle Harper is a Los Angeles–born creative strategist, community builder, and cultural curator, and the co-founder of BLKNGLD and BLKNGLD Culture—a community-based organization dedicated to amplifying marginalized voices, strengthening brands, and creating equitable access to opportunity.

With a multidisciplinary background spanning technology, graphic design, computer networking and management, product and production coordination, project management, and leadership, Danielle brings a rare blend of technical expertise and creative vision. Her skill set also extends into event creation and curation, experiential design and décor, culinary arts, music, and music production, allowing her to design culturally rich, end-to-end experiences that resonate deeply with targeted audiences.

Danielle has worked within the aerospace industry, where she gained hands-on experience in manufacturing and precision work, before encountering discrimination that ultimately reshaped her life’s direction. Rather than allowing those experiences to limit her, she transformed them into purpose—committing herself to building platforms that provide a level playing field for individuals whose talents are often overlooked, misused, or undervalued.

As a family woman, matriarch, and mother, Danielle’s work is deeply rooted in legacy, access, and sustainability. She is widely known throughout the Antelope Valley as a trusted connector—skilled at bridging community, corporate, and creative spaces to generate financial opportunities, economic advancement, and proper placement for individuals and businesses to reach the audiences they are meant to serve.

Her curatorial work includes Jazz at the Alley, The Jubilee Night Market, Word to Your Mother, Mother’s Day cultural events, and multiple community-centered brunches—each intentionally designed to fill cultural gaps and provide meaningful, elevated experiences that have long been missing in the region. In addition, Danielle serves as Secretary for the Center for Alternative Law and Mediation, reinforcing her commitment to equity, access, and community advocacy.

At her core, Danielle is known as a kind-hearted, adaptable, and selfless leader—equally effective in corporate environments and grassroots community spaces. She is deeply committed to philanthropy, mentorship, and service, with a strong focus on ensuring marginalized communities have a voice, creating financial opportunities for single-parent households, and introducing entrepreneurship and technology to children at an early age.

For Danielle Harper, this work is not a trend or a title—it is a life’s mission. Over the last three years, she has dedicated herself full-time to building BLKNGLD into a platform that connects gifted individuals with real opportunities, centers culture as a tool for empowerment, and ensures that those pushed to the margins are no longer left behind—but brought forward, supported, and seen.

Choose Purpose.

About BLKNGLD

BLKNGLD is a community-rooted creative and cultural organization built to ensure that talented individuals—especially those from marginalized and overlooked communities—have access to real opportunity, proper placement, and sustainable growth. Founded with the intention of leveling the playing field, BLKNGLD operates at the intersection of culture, commerce, and community, offering brand development, brand voice strategy, event production, and curated cultural experiences that connect people to the audiences and resources meant for them.

Co-founded by Danielle Harper and Monzelle Dozier, BLKNGLD was created in response to systemic barriers that often prevent highly skilled individuals from being seen, valued, or compensated appropriately. The organization is deeply committed to economic advancement, creative ownership, and building authentic pathways to financial opportunity. Through intentional programming, partnerships, and culturally relevant experiences, BLKNGLD creates spaces where creativity is respected and community impact is measurable.
