Candlelight Vigil for Monzelle Dozier

Our brother Monzelle "Mr. D.O.Z" Dozier, passed away at the City of Hope Hospice and Care Center on November 30th, 2025. He was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in early 2024. Monzelle was told that he only had so much time left, but had faith that he would push the limits, and lay the seeds necessary before he left us in the physical sense. He was able to record messages for us to listen to in his absence, and many writings for us to learn from. Monzelle leaves behind his beautiful family, as well as the many lives he touched through his contagious laugh, knowledge, encouragement, and positivity. He will truly be missed.

Join us for a community candlelight vigil this Saturday at 6:30PM at AV ALTA FC STADIUM.

If you are unable to attend or want to grieve with us in a more formal way, his his service is scheduled for January 16th, 2026, more details to follow.

Join us this Saturday as we remember our brother Monzelle “Mr. DOZ” Dozier. 12/13/25 @ 6:30PM. We will light candles, say a prayer of peace, and talk with a healer and mental health advocate about encouragement and next steps. You’ll be able to mourn this great loss…in community. Monzelle had many gems for us to hear and we will be able to listen to a few of his songs while watching a memoriam on the Jumbotron. Gone but never forgotten. We must continue his legacy and Heal-Mo internally!
